
Vectronix Inc. and BAE Systems to provide U.S. ARMY with
Laser Target Location System
Leesburg, Va., September 4, 2009 – Leesburg, Virginia based Vectronix Inc. and BAE Systems will provide handheld laser target locators to the U.S. Army under a five-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
As part of the laser target locator module (LTLM) contract awarded by BAE Systems, Vectronix will provide the direct-view optic system, laser range finder, and digital magnetic compass components to be integrated with BAE Systems night-vision camera and GPS receiver. The lightweight system weighs less than 5.5 pounds and functions in all weather conditions including obscured-visibility caused by fog and smoke.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin this year.
